Think of it as your personal command centre, offering convenient access to manage every facet of your studies from your course registration to exam results. This digital hub is particularly beneficial for distance learning students, providing the tools needed for effective self-management and course progress tracking.
How to Access the ICB Student Portal
Gaining access to the portal is quick and hassle-free. Simply head to the ICB Portal homepage and click the Register button.
- If you’re already an ICB student: Enter your name, surname, email address, ID type (South African or foreign), ID number, and ICB reference number. Then click the register button and you’re in!
If you’re a new student: Fill in your name, surname, and email address. Once submitted, you’ll be guided to the next page where you’ll enter your personal details and complete your ICB student registration. Once done, you’ll also gain access to the student portal.
What Can You Do Inside the ICB Student Portal?
Once you’re logged into the ICB Student Portal, you gain access to a range of tools that allow you to manage every part of your academic experience from one central dashboard:
- Registering for a Course – Click on “Register for Course” to browse and choose from the three available ICB study programmes. You’ll then select your preferred training provider from an approved list. This function ensures your registration is properly linked to both your chosen course and institution, setting you up for successful learning.
- Scheduling Exams – Navigate to the “Enter Assessment” section where you’ll find a list of subjects you’re eligible to write. Select the relevant subject, then choose from available venues and exam dates. The system will display exam availability in real time, allowing you to pick the most convenient option without delays.
- Making Payments – Access the “Order Products” page to settle your course and exam fees. The portal supports multiple payment methods including EFT, SnapScan, and credit card, making it easy to process secure transactions instantly. Payment confirmation is also tracked within your portal profile for future reference.
- Updating Personal Details – Head to your profile settings to update key personal information such as your contact details, ID number, and email address. Keeping your information up-to-date helps avoid delays in receiving results, certificates, and important student notifications.
- Viewing Results – Once results are released, you can check your academic performance under the “Results” section. You’ll be able to download detailed feedback and track your progress across modules – an essential tool for staying on top of your qualification goals.
With all these features combined, the ICB Student Portal becomes more than just a dashboard. It’s your academic headquarters, giving you complete control over your learning experience.
