Sandi Lee (Lecturer) started the topic Use Vaseline for a smudge-free manicure. in the forum
Beauty Therapy 1 years, 11 months ago
To keep your at-home manicure on your nails (and not the skin surrounding your nails), apply a little Vaseline around the boundary where your nails end and your skin begins. Wait for your manicure to dry, then wash your hands, any polish that’s landed on top of the Vaseline will wash right off.

Sandi Lee (Lecturer) started the topic Start Your Winged Liner at the Outer Corner in the forum
Beauty Therapy 1 years, 11 months ago
To master the perfect everyday winged eyeliner, start your line at the outer corner of your eyelid. Then, once you have your desired length, begin to fill in the wing. This is easier than carrying the line through to the inner corner of your eye.

Approach it like a pro: Before applying your setting/finishing powder, you’ll want to swirl your powdered brush in the palm of your clean hand, working t…[Read more]

Beauty Therapy 2 years, 1 months ago
Throughout the analytical process, the professional should approach the face methodically, first looking at the overall skin, then focusing on specific areas, making sure to work around the entire face and neck. Touching the skin is also important, to feel for elasticity and texture.

Acne is no joke. Triggered by a nasty combination of hormones, diet, and genetics, all of which lead to different types of breakouts, each with their own symptoms and requiring their own separate game plans to get rid of.
